2irish News
2irish News began as the web site 2irish.com in 1999. For four years the twin pillars of Irish manhood that are Séamus Brophy & Éamon Trolleybus expounded on “How To Be Two Irish” and provided such regualr features as “On This Day In Irish History” and “They Were Really Irish” (the latter exposing such closet Irish persons as Queen Victoria and Albert Einstein among others).
In 2000 Éamon & Séamus took to the airwaves, recording 60 editions of “2irish.com Shortwave Audio News” which were broadcast on Lite FM, much to the confusion of all the taxi drivers in Dublin who were expecting to here “Africa” by Toto.

In 2001 Éamon and Séamus fell out. They didn’t have an argument, they were living in a tree near Garrykennedy in North Tipperary and they just fell out. They were extensively bruised and rested up for a few years.
This year 2irish resurfaced in the form of the 2irish News blog. It was the thin end of the wedge and now the lads have moved into a new, lower tree in Ballyferriter and are appearing in person every month in “At Last, The 1989 Show!” in MB Slattery’s Rathmines.
